Murder Mystery 

TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR 

Join us as we take an adventure to Margarita Island and raise much needed funds for the Drumright Historical Society! Where you become part of the investigations! Every attendant will play a part. Do not worry acting is not required, but going all out it is encouraged. You will receive your part via email approximately 2 weeks before the event. You can dress up or down however you feel comfortable. Suggestions will be sent with your roles.

Setting the Scene 

Somewhere in the tropics between the Port of Confusion and Bay of Disarray, you’ll find that murder meets mayhem and the intrigue begins! 

While most vacation at Margaritaland, an exclusive tropical resort, to get away from their troubles, for one unfortunate soul, it will mean the end of their travels altogether. 

Has the lottery winner’s luck run out? Will it be the bartender who has served his last drink? Is the honeymoon over for two lovebirds before it nearly began? Or will the stars collide for one Hollywood star?! 

At the resort, the guilty will mingle among the guests and everyone will be left with the task of deciphering between the facts and falsehoods that plague this paradise in order to make a killer pay for their crime. 

The night itself will be a clever concoction of chaos, crime, and cocktails in the Caribbean.

Pinot Grigio

The clean and simple flavors of our Pinot Grigio make it a very popular dry white wine. Its flavors of pear and citrus make it a crowd-pleaser!

Tidewater Winery, originally a one-room schoolhouse called Tidal School, was built by John D. Rockefeller and opened in 1930 for the children of the oilfield. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places and located just miles off the infamous Route 66, Tidewater is a destination you don’t want to miss!

Drumright, OK is a town full of murals, each telling a part of Drumright’s history. The mural on the front label, Indians and Wild Horses honors those who were in Drumright when Wheeler #1 was struck at the beginning of the boomtown era. Don’t miss a tour of the murals of Drumright!

If you're in the mood for a fun summer drink, this mint mojito recipe is just what you need! It's refreshing, delicious, and super easy to make.

Pi-jito

• 5 mint leaves, more for garnish
• 1 cup Pinot Grigio
• 1 ounce fresh lime juice & Lime slices, for garnish
• 1 ounce simple syrup
• Club soda or sparkling water

1. Lightly muddle the mint in the bottom of a cocktail shaker until aromatic. Add the Pinot Grigio, lime juice, simple syrup, a handful of ice and shake.

2. Strain into a glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of club soda and garnish with lime slices and more mint.

Zhenya Yevtushenko

Zhenya Yevtushenko is one of the sons of the late poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko. Zhenya is co-founder of “The Sunday Collective,” a group connecting new and experienced performers and writers based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 

Today, Zhenya aspires to become a teacher and literary translator. His work has been published in “The Guardian,” “Right Hand Pointing,” “failbetter,” “The Tulsa Review” and “Suburban Witchcraft Magazine.” In 2023, Zhenya was named as a Woody Guthrie Poet, his work being anthologized in “The Working Man’s Hands,” published by Fine Dog Press. 

In collaboration with Torres Fine Art, Zhenya has launched an ekphrasis series, “Empire of Missed Chances,” exploring the definitions and limitations of gender identity using a photographer’s lens and a poet’s pen. He owes his inspiration to his mother, his brothers and to the love of his life, Olivia.

Originally opened in 1926, the Dunkin Theatre is completely restored and back as a movie theatre and live music venue.

Located in historic Downtown Cushing, Oklahoma, we offer guests a unique movie-watching experience. On the East end of the theatre is Godofredo’s Pizzeria & Tap Room. The Dunkin Theatre has been recently restored and is eager to have its doors open once again.

We are now booking weddings and holidays for the 2024/2025 season. We offer decorations, setup/clean up along with catering and more for an additional fee. Deposits are required to hold the space. Call us to get the best rate and reserve your date today.
