CNA- Certified Nursing Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide direct care to patients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We have opportunities for night shift 12-hour rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Provide support with mobility and transfers, including using wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts.
  • Assist with feeding and hydration, and monitor patients for any dietary needs or restrictions.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients' conditions or behaviors to the nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, including changing bed linens and cleaning rooms.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification from an accredited program.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting and assisting patients.

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate housekeeping associate to join our team. The housekeeper will help to provide clean and sanitary living conditions to our residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs all housekeeping/cleaning duties defined in the Housekeeping Manual, including, but not limited to:
  • Receives assignments from supervisor and follows cleaning schedule as outlined for housekeeping department to clean offices, handicap and visitors restrooms, activity room, kitchen restroom, service entrance and therapy room, entrances and exits, utility areas, closets, lounges, lobbies, halls, etc.; Performs emergency housekeeping.
  • Cleans, dusts, washes, and disinfects all fixtures, floors, walls, doors, and ceilings, as required; Scours and polishes water fountains, sinks, mirrors, glass panels in doors and partitions, brass and movable and stationary furnishings and fixtures; Changes slip covers, scarves, doilies, etc. when soiled and arranges furniture and equipment in an orderly fashion; Cleans ledges, shelves, vents, windows, window sills, etc.; Removes and re hangs curtains, drapes, and dividers for cleaning when needed; Replenishes soap and towels in appropriate receptacles.
  • Empties and cleans ashtrays and wastebaskets.
  • Works jointly with maintenance department personnel to service floors, all patient rooms, baths, lounges, nurses’ stations, and offices, as assigned.
  • Performs terminal cleaning duties according to established procedure in patient rooms when the patient has been discharged or transferred, and prepares rooms for new occupants.
  • Performs cleaning duties in isolation units when a patient is transferred according to established procedures (see Nursing Procedure Manual)
  • Vacuums and shampoos all carpeting and rugs (including small rugs), and has them laundered.
  • Maintains order in the supply room by cleaning lockers and equipment and arranging supplies.
  • Waters and cleans large plants in the center.
  • Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and safety standards. 
  • Help with menu planning in collaboration with the Dietary Manager, focusing on resident preferences and nutritional requirements. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, following all health and safety regulations. 
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing food and supplies. 
  • Conduct regular checks on food storage temperatures and ensure proper sanitation practices are followed. 
  • Support special dietary needs, including allergies and dietary restrictions, by closely monitoring meal preparations. 
  • Communicate effectively with residents to understand their dietary preferences and needs. 
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills related to dietary practices. 
  • Provide assistance during mealtimes, ensuring a pleasant dining experience for residents.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to our residents on Saturday and Sunday 8 hour shifts. The LPN/RN will be responsible for delivering direct patient care, monitoring patient health, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs, physical and emotional status, and response to treatments.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized care plans in collaboration with registered nurses and other healthcare providers.
  • Perform routine assessments and report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  • Ensure proper infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
