Member Services Representative
Full-time: M-F 7:45 AM – 5 PM and 1 Saturday a month 8:45 am – 1 pm

ROLE: To assist members with their financial transactions, involving paying and receiving cash and other negotiable instruments.
To adhere to Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act including accurate completion of CTR, Monetary Instrument Log, following the Customer Identification Program for new customers, monitoring for and reporting suspicious activities to Supervisor or Compliance Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receives and processes customer financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and loan payments; sells gift cards & corporate checks to members; transfers funds from member accounts as directed.
• Balances cash drawer and daily transactions.
• Post transactions to member accounts and maintain member records.
• Welcomes members and provides routine information concerning services and directs member to appropriate department for specific information and service.
• Cross-sells Credit Union services.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including typing, filing, computer input and answering the telephone.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned and adhere to all BSA procedures put in place by the Credit Union.
• Ability to work some Saturdays if needed.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving obtaining information which may require some discussion.
• Ten key calculator and computer keyboard by touch. Must be good with detail to deal with numbers and names.
• Provide friendly, professional, personal service to all customers and associates
• Balance your drawer daily, staying within the Member Services Outage Policy
• Process a minimum of 10 transactions per hour.
• Accurately post transactions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
• Proactively seek opportunities to identify appropriate products and services for the betterment of the customer.
• Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
• Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Up to six months of similar or related experience.

Indirect Loan Officer

ROLE: Applying his/her experience, the successful candidate will help the Credit Union meet its mission. Analyzes indirect loan requests and makes credit decisions based on lending policy. Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA Patriot Act including Customer Identification Program, monitoring for and reporting suspicious activities to Supervisor or Compliance Officer.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives loan applications originated with dealers. Analyzes Application(s) financial status to determine eligibility of loan approval. Makes decision to approve, deny, or forward the loan request to higher levels for decision. Establishes the terms and conditions of an approved loan. Availability for any shifts Monday through Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturdays 9am- 6pm.
- To assist with all facets of processing indirect loans which may include opening new accounts, reviewing contracts, preparing adverse action, etc.
- Responds to dealer inquiries by phone or email, re: rates, terms, loan to value flexibility or allowable loan add-ons.
- Coordinates with the consumer loan processor, ensuring that all forms are completed properly, all liens are perfected, all loans are processed and paid out in a timely manner. May authorize release of collateral on existing loans, changes in loan terms, due date changes, etc.
- Keeps informed of current trends of indirect lending.
- Performs other job related duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- Ensure all documentation is completed within a timely manner and a 95% accuracy rate.
- To maintain a professional, courteous, and friendly atmosphere and avoid negative behaviors.
- Comply with all credit union policies and procedures including reporting to work on time and avoiding unnecessary absences.
- Maintain a delinquency ratio that minimizes the charge off ratio and complies with annual corporate goals.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- Motivating or influencing others is a material part of the job.
- Work involves much personal contact with others and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first- level conflict resolution, building relationships and soliciting cooperation.
- The role requires a significant level of trust or diplomacy.
- Able to operate a computer as well as various computer applications including Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, etc. and Google Suite of products.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment, able to manage multiple tasks, confident decision making.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three to five years of similar or related experience is required.
- An Associate's degree
- Achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to an associate’s degree.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
